HELP US UNDERSTAND EATING DISORDERS

We would like to take some pictures of your child’s brain using a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine. This is not dangerous in anyway! Unlike other ways of getting pictures of bones or other parts of the body, the MRI does not use any radiaton, just a magnets, radio waves and a really powerful computer!!

 

During the scans your child will simply need to lie as still as possible and she will get the chance to choose a movie to watch whilst the pictures are being taken.
